The Florida Education Foundation promotes and supports academic excellence for pre-kindergarten through 12th grade students in Florida. The Foundation recognizes outstanding teachers and educational contributors, develops strategic alliances with business organizations and advances statewide educational initiatives.
23rd Annual Commissioner's Business Recognition Awards
On June 17, 2010, Department of Education Commissioner Dr. Eric J. Smith, along with the Florida Education Foundation, announced winners of the 2010 Commissioner's Business Recognition Awards. More than 80 businesses throughout the state were recognized for their commitment to improving the academic success of all students.
