Our Partners

Our donor partners are intellegent investors!

They know that dollar for dollar, a donation to the Florida Education Foundation will further improvements in academic achievement and be used to support innovative and progressive education opportunities for students.

The future of Florida depends on a sound education system. Through the support of our partners we are targeting both long and short-term goals.

Business Volunteers

The Florida Education Foundation and its generous partners annually sponsor the Commissioner’s Business Recognition Awards (Word, 136KB). Each year, the Commissioner of Education recognizes worthy business partners for their commitment to improving the academic performance of Florida school students and for their outstanding public service. These business partners help Florida's educational system gain a competitive edge and assist in providing enhanced services to our students. Specifically, the program honors those organizations that work with their local school districts to increase student achievement, promote greater government efficiency, and strive for a safer learning environment.

The 2008 Commissioner’s Business Recognition Awards Ceremony was held on the evening of April 10 at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront in Jacksonville. Award recipients were honored at a VIP reception hosted by Lynda Keever and Florida Trend and Florida Trend Next magazines prior to the awards dinner. Local winners were announced throughout the evening and recognized for their generous support. The final award of the evening was the Commissioner’s Statewide Award of Distinction presented to Universal Orlando® Resort in Orlando.
