Teacher Appreciation Week

Teacher Appreciation Ideas for Students

  1. Write a note or letter to a teacher telling them how much you appreciate what they do for you.
  2. Decorate the door of your teacher’s classroom with positive notes.
  3. Bring one flower to put in a central vase, or each student could construct a flower to put in a vase.
  4. List the things your teacher does for you each day that are special and present to him or her.
  5. Construct a class mural with each student contributing positive attributes of the teacher.
  6. Make coupons for your teacher such as clean erasers, blackboard, dust classroom, organize papers, etc.
  7. Make your teacher king or queen for a day and treat them as such all year.
  8. Put small items on your teacher’s desk such as a piece of gum with a note attached that says something like – Thanks for sticking with us candy bar with a note that says You’re worth a million dollars.
  9. Cut out letters that spell Happy Teacher Appreciation Week and add sayings or quotes about good teachers.
  10. Cut out a copy of a hand – Teacher we have to hand it to you – you’re the best.
