Teacher Appreciation Ideas for Students
- Write a note or letter to a teacher telling them how much you appreciate what they do for you.
- Decorate the door of your teacher’s classroom with positive notes.
- Bring one flower to put in a central vase, or each student could construct a flower to put in a vase.
- List the things your teacher does for you each day that are special and present to him or her.
- Construct a class mural with each student contributing positive attributes of the teacher.
- Make coupons for your teacher such as clean erasers, blackboard, dust classroom, organize papers, etc.
- Make your teacher king or queen for a day and treat them as such all year.
- Put small items on your teacher’s desk such as a piece of gum with a note attached that says something like – Thanks for sticking with us candy bar with a note that says You’re worth a million dollars.
- Cut out letters that spell Happy Teacher Appreciation Week and add sayings or quotes about good teachers.
- Cut out a copy of a hand – Teacher we have to hand it to you – you’re the best.
