Ali Jones is the Senior Operations and Development Manager for the Florida Education Foundation. Prior to the Foundation, Ali was the Association Coordinator for the Florida Children’s Council where she led strategic engagement with communities, elected officials, business leaders and stakeholders to identify and promote best practices that support the current workforce and advance opportunities for children and youth. She also worked to increase access to quality out-of-school time opportunities and promote effective strategies to ensure positive literacy outcomes for students as a contributing team member to the Florida Afterschool Network and Florida Grade-Level Reading Campaign.

Ali previously served on Rules Chairwoman Lizbeth Benacquisto’s staff in the Florida Senate where she acquired hands-on experience inside Florida’s legislative system. Additionally, Ali spent nearly six years with Kidz1stFund, a non-profit organization specializing in raising funds for rare disease research, serving as Program Coordinator and Director of Programs. In these roles, she developed and implemented fundraising and communications strategies to advance medical research and promote the organization’s national awareness. Understanding the important roles of collaboration, partnership and collective effort in achieving statewide impact, Ali is a skilled communicator and convener.

Ali is a native of Tallahassee, Florida and graduated Cum Laude from Florida State University earning her Bachelor of Science in Business Management.
