Katrina Hoeft serves as the newest team member at the Florida Education Foundation. She most recently worked as the Recruitment Specialist for Adult Education at Tallahassee Community College where she was recognized for outstanding service to the college. Before moving to Florida from Virginia in 2017, Katrina homeschooled her children, created and managed a local support group, and served on the Advisory Board of the Home Educators Association of Virginia. She has also worked in state government, taught history and social studies, and fundraised for a national non-profit organization. One of the most memorable positions for Katrina was serving as a Historical Interpreter for the Mount Vernon Ladies Association where she had the privilege to tell visitors about the life and legacy of President George Washington.

Katrina's passion is to serve others and promote educational opportunity for all students. She lives in Tallahassee, Florida with her husband Kevin, 16 year old twins, and a cat named Moses.
